The competition is sponsored by the LISMA Foundation as well as SAMSUNG, Asiana Airlines, HSBC, Flushing Savings Bank, and the Korea Times, Woori America Bank, Steinway & Sons, The Racquet Club at Old Westbury, Gradoux-Matt Rare Violins. The participants will have a great opportunity to compete against each other for scholarships, prizes and share their musical talents. They will also have a chance to visit New York City and see all that it has to offer.

The winners of the LISMA International Music Competition will be exposed to a variety of concert series that will enrich winneres' performing skills.
